Jigar was the Head of Machine learning at CrowdAI (YC Company) in SF, where he worked on machine learning and computer vision applied to Geospatial application. He also worked on machine learning models that improved the data annotation pipelines. His research on AI for Social Good has been published in top research conferences like CVPR and NeurIPS. Also, his research has received press coverage at places like CNN, Forbes, Venture Beat, TechCrunch.
Prior to joining CrowdAI, Jigar worked at IBM Research in New York doing computer vision research on videos for problems like activity recognition, classification, and re-identification. Before that, he was working on his Ph.D. at Georgia Tech building computer vision models for humanoid robots. He has also worked at Intel and Motorola.
